Limos, Rollers and Hot Rods!
Professional transport will provide so much more.

Your choices for your wedding Transportation are wide and varied, from stretch limousines, to classic British or American vehicles, to helicopters and boats. Your theme and budget will set the basics, but ultimately only your imagination should set the limits.

On such an important day, it is important the form of transport you choose is appropriate for your requirements. Distance to be traveled, time required with the transportation, total number of people to be transported, the size of the wedding dress and the potential of inclement weather on the day should all be considered prior to any decisions being made.

A family or borrowed vehicle may be suitable for the more casual services, but a professional company will provide so much more than just a means of transport. Wheel covers to protect the dress, red carpet, umbrellas, uniformed chauffeurs, refreshments and knowledge on wedding decorum should be offered by any professional wedding vehicle company.

Licensed Transport Authority Operators will also be fully insured, including public liability insurance, and the vehicles are checked by Transport Authority Officers as often as every 6 months. Uncle Bob’s neighbour’s friend’s father’s Hot Rod may look nice, but non-licensed vehicles may not be fully insured, nor be legally allowed to carry paying passengers.

Traditionally, the groom needs to arrive at the venue approximately 30 minutes prior to the start of the service. The bridesmaids and mother of bride usually will travel together in convoy with the bride and father of bride in their own vehicle. When planning journey time, consider traffic conditions and potential delays, and arrival at the venue should be planned to allow plenty of time for photographs and the final make-up and hair adjustments. Following the service, the bride and groom travel in the lead vehicle, with attendants traveling to the photograph locations in the support vehicles.

It is important when arranging transportation to get in early to guarantee the vehicle you want – there is often a limited supply of the more popular vehicles. It is also often wise to overestimate the time required with the vehicles just a little. This will ensure your photo shoot is not rushed nor cut short due to following bookings.

Lastly, like every industry, you do get what you pay for. A reputable company will detail their vehicles, assist with the planning, have researched the best route to the various locations and will have a contingency plan for any problems encountered on the day. Confirm details one week prior to the day, and allow them to assist you in having the best day of your life!
